Imphal, February 10: A reception function in honour of Dr A Jayentakumar, director of RRTC NE-I who has been conferred Padmashree by the Government of India recently was hosted jointly by Department of Social Welfare, Govt of Manipur and Manipur Chapter of Federation of Indian NGOs Working for Drug Abuse Prevention (FINGODAP) at Hotel Anand Continental here today.

The reception function was attended by Commissioner of Social Welfare Letkhogin Haokip as chief guest, Joint Director of Social Welfare Department Samurailatpam Sarat Sharma as president and Project Director of Manipur State AIDS Control Society Dr Pramodkumar and Deputy Director Dr Premchand as guests of honour.
