Imphal, Aug 06: Disclosing that the Kuki National Army had taken befitting action against all its cadres involved in the killing of RK Pratap, it apologised to the bereaved family members and JAC against the Brutal Killing of RK Pratap and injuring one Ng Dava of Nagaland.

A statement issued by the information and publicity secretary of the outfit Khang Khang Kuki said that fateful incident of August 3 was perpetrated without the knowledge of wing commander of KNA wing no VII.

While declaring that KNA would award capital punishment if the cadres involved in the killing of Pratap misbehave or disobey authority in the future, it appealed to all and the JAC to ease the tension as it has been the commitment of the outfit to uphold justice.

The statement further mentioned that the outfit has initiated steps to enquire into the brutal killing adding that highest punishment would be awarded according to the gravity of the crime when the enquiry is completed fully.
