Imphal, Aug 01: Following the monetary demand of one UG group to pay Rs 4 lakhs by tomorrow on the Youth Affairs and Sports Department located at Khuman Lampak, the Director has gone hiding and the employees have taken casual leave en masse.

It is reported that the Minister concerned has been intimated of the monetary demand of the militant group and the subsequent developments, said a well placed source while talking to The Sangai Express today.

Further, the militant group has also threatened and mockingly asked how long the Director can remain in hiding without giving the monetary demand served on the Department.
