With the arrival of Delhi police team to the State, a total of seven vehicles have been recovered today.
The latest crackdown followed the earlier drive launched when a team of Delhi police arrived here to seize stolen vehicles.
A 17 member team including representatives from Insurance companies arrived here yesterday and the vehicles were recovered during the drive launched today.
The police team is led by an Inspector of Delhi police.
Assisted by the State police, three teams have been formed and the drive to recover the vehicles stolen from outside the State will continue for the next few days.
At the moment an estimated 300 vehicles stolen from Delhi and other places are believed to be in Manipur.
Most of the vehicles are four wheelers and they were sold here at throw away prices, which attracted a number of buyers.
In the earlier drive, a total of 22 stolen vehicles were recovered and they are presently kept in the custody of Imphal police.
