Imphal, August 30: A State level Science seminar was held at GM Hall today and the best performer was also selected.

The selected best performer will represent the State in the National Science Seminar 2008 which will be organised by the National Council of Science Museum, New Delhi on October 3 at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata.

S Ram Krishna of JNV Chandel has been ajudged the best performer in the State level Science seminar held on the theme "Water Crisis on Earth� Problems and Remedies".

The seminar was participated by 23 students from different schools.

The prize distribution function of the seminar was graced by Education Minister L Jayantakumar and Commissioner Sambhu Singh as chief guest and president respectively.

Addressing the prize distribution function, Jayantakumar noted that the today is the science and technology.

Observing that such seminars would be immense help to students, he called upon all science students to participate in such science seminars.

Later, the chief guest distributed prizes to the best performer of the seminar and other participants.
