UKLF decries harassment

Imphal, September 27: Accusing the State forces of threatening and harassing Kuki civilians and the United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) in some parts of the State, the UKLF has flayed the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the State Govt towards the ceasefire agreement between the Kuki UG groups and the Union Government.

A press release issued by UKLF Information and Publicity secretary Th Jamesbond alleged that the State Govt has been indulging in some highly dubious militant practices not conducive to the ceasefire arrangement between Kuki UG groups and the Govt.Disclosing that the UKLF is looking forward towards peace talk with the Govt, the outfit warned that in the event of any undesirable and untoward circumstances arising from the action of State forces, the State Government will be held responsible.
