RPF offers revolutionary salutes

Imphal, May 26: The RPF has offered revolutionary salute to its PLA cadre L/Cpl Thomash alias Khumukcham Bush s/o Kh Thambou of Kakching Khunou Awang Leikai who met with an accidental death when lightning struck upon him while on duty yesterday.

Informing that Thomash�s body had been buried with fitting revolutionary salute, chief of RPF�s department of communication and publicity N Wangba in a statement regretted that arrangement could not be made for participation of the deceased cadre�s family members/elders in the final rites.

Describing Thomash as dedicated, sincere and a disciplined, the statement also informed of the youngster to have submitted a written pledge to work with commitment and respect ideology of the RPF in the armed movement for emancipation of Manipur.

It also conveyed solidarity to sorrow of the bereaved family.
