Imphal, May 21: In unrelated incidents four cadres belonging to different UG outfits have been arrested by police commandos and BSF in the last 48 hours.

One PREPAK cadre identified as Irungbam Naocha alias Laiba alias Chirai (26) of Mang Hidden Bazar was nabbed by Imphal East commandos from Iroishenba Bazar at about 6:30 am today.

In another incident, Imphal West commandos and troops of 22 Maratha Light Infantry arrested one UNLF cadre from his locality yesterday at about 7:30 pm.

The UNLF cadre is identified as Koijam Jiten alias Ibothem alias Ibomcha (33) of Naoremthong Khullem Leikai.

Meanwhile, two ZRA cadres apprehended by 100 Bn BSF were handed over to Churachandpur police yesterday.

They are identified as Lutkhomang alias Michael (22) of Kananphai village and Moirousang (18) of Mimbung village, Mizoram, currently staying at Upper Lamka.

Ten live rounds of 9 mm and a motor-cycle (Pulsar) were also recovered from their possession.
