Imphal, February 21:
A highly decomposed body and bearing male features has been recovered from Inrailong Longkhum hill range near Khongjarol village today afternoon.
The site from where the human remains was discovered is located about 9 kilometres south-east of Tengnoupal police station in Chandel district.
A team of Tamenglong police has retrieved the skeletal remains and deposited it at the District Hospital.
It is likely to be brought to RIMS morgue after the third phase polls.
Informed source speculate that the skeletal remains may be of one Tom Bahadur of 6 MR who went missing about 7 months back.
