Imphal, Jul 16: The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) has strongly condemned the action of the Assam Rifles personnel who allegedly used harsh words and prevented media persons from carrying out their duties at Moreh today.In a statement, AMWJU decried the action of the security forces and termed it as an encroachment on the freedom of the press.

Demanding apology from the guilty AR personnel, the statement further announced that AMWJU would extend all possible support to any agitational move taken up by the Moreh-based correspondents in connection with the today's incident.
