Imphal, December 15 2010: Reacting to the allegation of KCP (Malemnganba) Vungjanem Valte, Registrar, Manipur Nursing Council said that the council does not appoint Khuraijam Tamphasana as its clerk.

Vungjanem said that Tamphasana was hired by the council by giving daily wages in times of need since the council has no full time clerk.

Employees of the council give her wages for their own salary.

The allegations made to the council are not true.

The council is doing its duty with sincerely.

She said that the council did not issue any notice for repeaters' examination for passed GNM and ANM regular candidates.

Repeaters' exam is for those candidates who could not passed a paper or two in the final exam not for the passed candidates.

The result sheets of the exam are not published in local newspaper since there are only a few affliated Nursing schools in the state.

Instead they called the principals of the schools and give them the result sheets.

However, result of future examinations will be published in local newspapers.

She also said that the staffs of the council are doing voluntary service.
