ANSAM to fete meritorious students

Imphal, June 12: The Major Shimreingam Shaiza Memorial Trust Committee, a part of All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) will be giving away the Award of Excellence to the meritorious students from Manipur who had come out with flying colours in the 2007 HSLC exam conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on June 16 at Town Hall in Ukhrul at 10 am.

The committee in this regard has said that those would-be awardees may reach Ukhrul by June 15 where food and lodging will be arranged by the organisers/ANSAM.

If it is not convenient for the students to come to Ukhrul, parents or the school authorities may collect prizes on their wards behalf.

The First Divisioners/students who secured letter marks will be awarded on the day.

MLA Dr Khasim Ruivah will be the chief guest on the occasion.
