New lecture hall graces RIMS

Imphal, November 06: Health and Family Welfare Minister DK Korungthang has inaugurated the newly constructed HG Khorana Hall in the RIMS complex today.

The hall was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 30 lakhs and was allocated by the Government of Manipur.

Speaking as chief guest of the function, the Minister said that the Government is all the time ready to extend assistance to the RIMS which is serving the people of many States.

Director of RIMS Prof L Fimate who presided over the function said that in the last 35 years, RIMS has made gigantic progress.

It has achieved important milestones in academic affairs, research works, paper presentation and other developmental works, he said while expressing happiness to the State Government for extending co-operation to RIMS.

The newly inaugurated lecture hall would be used for the students.

Dean (Academic) Prof W Gyaneswor and Medical Superintendent Prof Y Mohen were also in the dais during the function.
