Imphal, November 04:
With the number of candidates for primary teachers' post likely to swell over the 50,000 mark state authorities are considering district headquarters as possible venues for conducting recruitment examination slated for November 25.In the backdrop of script organisation MEELAL raising objection to the recruitment process and threatening to disrupt the examination, the Government is making all out effort to ensure that the examination passes off smoothly by opting for the district headquarters on security reason, said reliable source.
On the otherhand, State authorities are reportedly consulting subject experts on easing class IX and X mathematics learning for those students opting for arts stream.
Unlike in the past wherein students of both science and arts streams are prescribed common mathematics the next academic session is likely to begin with the arts stream students having to cope with relatively lighter mathematical solution.
This change concerns only Government run institutions, added the source.
