TKS peeved at Bengali scripted milestones

Ukhrul, May 03: The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) has revealed apprenhention and anger against the State Govt.machinaries for maintaining a double standard.

Reports say that a massive agitation are on card if the Govt.do not pay heed to its demand to rectify the milestone which was disregarded or rather white washed by writing with a Bengali Script which was earlier written in the Roman Script.

The milestone of Imphal via Ukhrul Jessami National Highway of the District which was under taken by the Border Road Task Force (BRTF) under the aegis of Ukhrul Hq.

25 BRTF was recently seen written all over with the Bengali Script of which the TKS has already intimated the C.O.BRTF Ukhrul to change it into its formal Roman script on or before Ukhrul April 8as a dead line and also warns of dire cosequences if failing to comply.
