Joy puts more proposals to EC

Imphal, February 17: Party president O Joy Singh has put up many more new proposals over and above the ones already raised from the side of Manipur People's Party (MPP) during the meeting called by Election Commission of India to discuss the State funding on election, according a statement issued by party general secretary (organisation) Ch Iboyaima.

Providing facilities for computer, fax and internet to all the recognised political parties to facilitate communication during election, fixing a limit on the expenditure of the parties just like putting a limit on the expenditure of a candidate and limiting the number of vehicles to be used are among some of the points raised in the proposal, the statement said.
