Imphal, July 27: Accusing the Indian security force of resorting to third degree torture on L Premananda who was arrested on July 25 from his house at Kwakeithel Moirang Purel Leikai, the JAC Against the Barbaric Custodial Torture of Premananda said that the victim was subjected to inhuman torture which ranged from pouring chilly powder and sauce on the anus and electric shock at the private part.

The JAC was formed after a meeting attended by members of AMUCO, COHR, MAFYF, Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Manipur, and local clubs of Kwakeithel Moirang Purel Leikai, Laishram Leikai and Akham Leikai.

In a statement, the JAC said that the victim was kicked down from a moving vehicle with his eyes blindfolded by the security personnel at Langol area.
