Imphal, September 24: The proscribed PREPAK and its Red Army have offered revolutionary salute to its three cadres killed in an encounter with a combined force of Imphal West commandos and troops of 22 Maratha Light Infantry on Sep 22 at Lamlongei Samutabi agricultural field.

Gurumayum Nillachandra (25) s/o G Gopal of Uripok Huidrom Leikai, Konthoujam Indra alias Mahadev (25) s/o Ibomcha of Lambal Awang Leikai and Loitongbam Raju (20) s/o Lukhoi of Wangkhei Tokpam Leirak of the Red Army were killed in the encounter.

A press release issued by Secy in-charge of the Department of Publicity and Propaganda of PREPAK/Red Army Aheiba Angom remarked that their death has left behind a big void in the outfit.

Nevertheless, their sacrifice and contribution will always be remembered by the party, Aheiba added.
