Imphal, February 21: Chief Executive Officer of Ukhrul District Council, Ningam Chamroy who was earlier pulled up for not reporting to his new place of posting has been granted leave under the Manipur Civil Services (Leave) Rules, on the basis of the recommendations of the District Medical Board.

Accordingly, the Govt has granted the CEO leave for 59 days effective from January 15, 2007 till March 12, 2007.However the officer is still under order of transfer as DPO/ ADC, Chandel.

In another notification, the Govt has ordered the transfer of RK Sukumar Singh, MCS Joint Secy (Power) as the DPO/ADC Chandel with immediate effect.

No joining time has been given.
