Imphal, November 20: Even as the 48 hours general strike called by the JAC Against the Killing of N Binoy was in full force, the State Govt today suspended three police commandos who were involved in the killing of the said youth.

N Binoy was allegedly killed by the police commandos while he was returning home after serving a one year jail term under the NSA on November 13 evening.

The JAC and family members had alleged that Binoy was way laid by the police commandos, taken captive and later shot dead.

According to information from the Imphal West police station, the suspended personnel are Head Constable L Inaobi, constables Herojit and Lungdim.
