Imphal, July 10:
The Transporters' and Drivers' Council has condemned the act of setting on fire a Tata Sumo by unidentified miscreants on July 8 at about 8 pm at Tarahei Naran Konjil after being hijacked from Singjamei parking.
In a statement, the Council said that since no organisation has claimed responsibility for the act of arson or given any reason, the Council in a meeting held today has decided to suspend all transport services along Imphal-Moreh from July 11.The burnt Sumo plied on this route.
The vehicles which will suspend services include, truck, bus, Tata Sumo, Van DI.
There will be relaxation for movements related to religion and medical cases.
