Imphal, June 07: The KNF has claimed the responsibility for killing Dongin and his accomplice.

A statement issued by the Information and Publicity Secretary of the outfit LH Stephen clarified that Dongin and his accomplice were awarded capital punishment for their involvement in many cases of robbery and extortion along NH 53 despite repeated warnings.

The duo were also involved in extortion activities in Imphal area taking shelter at the official residence of a former MLA, it alleged while maintaining that no further comments will be entertained on the matter.

The outfit also warned that all individuals/groups indulging in such activities will be dealt with a strong hand.
