Ram Vilas Paswan, the Union Minister for Chemicals, Fertilizers and Steel today banks on 6th schedule of the Indian Constitution while addressing Lok Janshakti Party supporters.
The National president of LJP, Paswan while campaigning for his party, requested the people to vote for its candidates so that the long standing demand of a �functional Sixth Schedule� can be realised in the State.
He also condemned the alleged rape of Hmar women by some armed groups and claimed that he and his party were personally involved in the initiative of rehabilitating the affected people rendered refugees by the incident.
He also pledged to integrate the kindred Zomi that were divided by international boundaries under the Indian constitution, if the people of Manipur vote the LJP to power, which is also the party that has completely revolutionized the telecommunication systems of the country.
Paswan accompanied by Mira Chakravarty, North East in-charge of the party, in addition to addressing a couple of gatherings here visited the graveyard of Albert Gengokhup Mate, an assassinated public figure in the district and promised to lay a memorial stone in his remembrance.
