Imphal, June 03: The 11th death anniversary of Padmashree Dr GC Tongbra was observed at Rupmahal Theatre today.

The commemorative event jointly organised by Dr GC Tongbra Death Anniversary Celebration Committee and Society Theatre was attended by MLA Dr Kh Loken Singh, Manipur State Akademi awardee Saratchand Thiyam and ex-president of Society Theatre, Manipur B Sanamacha Sharma as chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively.

Floral tributes were paid to the late satirist and one of his popular play was staged at the occasion.
