AR conducts First Aid lecture

Imphal, February 15: 24 Assam Rifles organised a lecture on First Aid at Chandel today under the aegis of Headquarters 26 Sector Assam Rifles.

The lecture was conducted for an NGO, Resource Centre for Social Welfare and Community Development (RCSWCD), Chandel which is extremely eager to learn the basic techniques of first aid as they want to impart the same to the needy in interiors and remote villages, Adjutant of 24 AR said in a statement.

The Commandant Col KS Kadian during his interaction with volunteers commented them in their efforts to help the needy in the remote areas.

He also advised them to educate the villagers in personal and environmental hygiene.
