The National Students� union of India, Manipur has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding inclusion of Education subject as an optional subject in the forthcoming MPSC combined competitive examination.
The memo highlighting adverse repercussion likely to have on not including Education subject in the exam syllabus, indiscipline among the future generation and neglecting interest and sentiment of students who pursued the subject from class XII to university prevailed upon the CM to intervene on the matter and initiate appropriate action.
Meanwhile, Manipur University Students� union also organised an open discussion on the topic �Exclusion of Education Subject from the MPSC examination� at the MUSU conference hall yesterday.
Attended by various eminent personalities and students from schools and college the session unanimously expressed shock and awe for exclusion of the subject that lays emphasis on issues concerning Human Resource.
