KSO appeals to authority on Imphal-Tamei Road

Imphal, August 30: Even as the Imphal-Tamei Road in Sadar Hills area was repaired recently, the road has deteriorated to a deplorable condition with the onset of monsoon season causing severe difficulties to public transport.

A press release issued by KSO, Tuilang block, Sadar Hills informed that the road between Thonglong and Songjang stretching for about 27 kms has also been affected by extensive landslide.

Along the same road between Thonglang Akutpa and Thonglang Atongba, the road is covered with mud and is slippery.

It is hard to travel along the road even on foot, it said.

Highlighting all these difficulties, the student body has appealed to the authority concerned to take up necessary actions at the earliest so as to facilitate smooth vehicular traffic.
