Recounting the then fierce rivalry between the UNLF and KYKL during which 130 guilty as well as innocent persons were eliminated, the chief guest conveyed that upon realising futility of such enmity and taking into account suffering and dissension of the general public an understanding through the initiative of the departed PREPAK leader Meiraba was reached to cease hostility and pave the way for achievement of the common goal.
