AFC announces 3-month body transformation challenge

Imphal, September 16 2025: The Managing Director of Apunba Fitness Centre (AFC), Nagamapal Yumnam Hemlet has announced the 10th AFC State Level Transformation Challenge which will span over three months, with the screening and preliminary round fixed on October 5, 2025 and the mega event slated for January 11, 2026 .

Speaking to mediapersons during a press conference held today at the Centre, Hemlet said that the threemonth challenge will be divided into two categories: male and female.

The top winners in both categories will bag a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each, while the 2nd and 3rd prize winners will walk away with Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively.

Winners in the 40+ age group will receive Rs 10,000 in the two aforementioned categories, he said.

AFC Best Trainer (male and female) prize with a cash reward of Rs 15,000 is also up for grabs.

The final screening will be held on January 4, 2026 and the mega event will be conducted on January 11 along with the distribution of prizes.

Hemlet further said that Challenge is open to all interested candidates above 14 years of age.

They can enter the competition free of cost.

The last date for form submission is October 4.Meanwhile, S Ravikumar, chairman, Organising Committee has invited the people of Manipur to take on the 10th AFC State Level Transformation Challenge to create a healthy society.
