Imphal, August 14 2010: The 19th Year of inclusion of Manipuri Language in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution will be observed on August 20 by Manipuri Language Development Committee and EPATHOUKOK at EPATHOUKOK office premises at Uripok Naoremthong.

In a press release, Secretary EPATHOUKOK, S Brojen Meetei informed that renown personalities will speak on the theme " Present status of Manipuri Language after its inclusion in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution"as main programme of the function.

The press release said that the function will be attended by MLA L Nandakumar, Chairman PDA MLA Kh Loken, DGP Y Joykumar and DC, Imphal West K Radhakumar as chief guest, guest of honour and distinguished guest respectively in the function.
