Imphal, July 10: The JAC formed against the assault of Gram Panchayat member H Landhoni by RK Lemba and RK Nabachandra has firmly stated they would go ahead with their agitation until and unless their demands are met.

Speaking to the press, co-convenor of the JAC, RK Bino said that though the two have been asked to clarify their stand by July 5 they have not complied with the conditions of the JAC.

Moreover the JAC had also demanded that a sum of Rs 1 lakh should be paid to the victim, Landhoni.

Since the demands have not been fulfilled till date, Bino said that the two should be held responsible for any untoward incident.
