To mark completion of one year of its 'Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi' campaign, MSF distributed writing materials and sweets to inmates of Children Homes located at different parts of the State today.
A team of MSF volunteers led by its general secretary Ananta Chongtham distributed writing materials and sweets to 141 children staying at orphanages of Tera Bazar, Dewlahland, Lei-Ingkhol and Kanglatongbi.
Speaking at the Children Homes, Ananta Chongtham said MSF would urge the State Govt to provide Rs 1000 each to every child of the Children Homes instead of only Rs 270 being provided by the Govt to each child per month.
Moreover, MSF would persuade the Govt to provide other aids so that every children of these Homes can become a successful person in the society.
On the other hand, authorities of Children Homes located at Tera Bazar, Lei-Ingkhol, Dewlahland and Kanglatongbi have conveyed their sincere gratitude to MSF for their gifts to the Homes.
