Imphal, February 01 2010: Like previous years, Luira/Lui-Ngai Ni, a seed sowing festival of Tangkhul Nagas, will be celebrated at KK Leishiphanit ground here, from February 14 .

The festival will be celebrated along with the silver jubilee celebration of United Hunphun Youth Front (UHYF).

Hunphun Katamnao Long, Hunphun Shanao Long and UHYF have formed an organizing committee to make the celebration a success.

MLA Danny Shaiza, MLA Dr Kashim Ruivah, MLA and Wungnaoshang Keishing will be the main dignitaries of the grand event which will continue till February 19 .

Indigenous games, songs dance, cultural bonanza, fashion parade and Miss Luira contest will be the main attractions of the celebration.
