Imphal, January 31:
In response to the appeal of three UG groups, FCS staff and social organisations, PULF has withdrawn the death penalty threat against four FCS officials temporarily for 10 days.
However, a statement issued by chief project officer, Finance Cell PULF conveyed hope that all UG groups and social organisations would cooperate when PULF acts according to its principle in case FCS authority fails to arrange for an amicable solution within 10 days.
Acknowledging the respect shown to PULF by pioneering UG groups and their suggestion to resolve any misunderstanding that may arise in the course of demanding its share through dialogues from FCS and all other Departments just like other UG groups, it lamented FREINDS' perception of PULF as an organisation that goes at the whim of some individuals.
Had FREINDS suggested to give up violence and appealed to come on the right path with a noble intention, PULF would have welcome their suggestion with an open heart, it remarked.
Saying that PULF never acted beyond the revolutionary principles alien to revolutionary groups of the world, the outfit declared that it too have the determination to make supreme sacrifices for the land as and when situation demands.
This would proved by deed in the course of time, the statement added.
FREINDS would realise that the steps of PULF were not incorrect if FREINDS call up what other UG groups had done in the past to get their share, asserted the statement.
