Food Corporation of India employees today condemned the arrest of eight of its officials in Manipur for allegedly having nexus with militants and demanded their release by tomorrow evening.
Bharatiya Khadya Nigam Karamchari Sangh�s Zonal Secretary Bedanta Kumar Sarmah said here "if the state government fails to release all the eight accused by tomorrow evening, then food movement to Manipur from other parts of the region will be totally stopped until the release of our colleagues", He said after ascertaining the situation in Manipur, they found the State Govt had acted in a "high-handed manner" in arresting the FCI employees.
