Imphal, September 06: As celebrated throughout the State and beyond in the past, Communist Party of India, Kshetrigao Local would be observing the 109th birth anniversary of Jana Neta Hijam Irabot Singh on September 27 at Meetei Sanglen, Wangkhei Thambalkhong at 2 pm with a March Past parade as the main programme.

As part of the function, Moirangthem Gunindro Singh Memorial Meritorious Award will be distributed to the best three students of Imphal East who secured highest marks in the HSLC examination-2005.Moirangthem Yaima Singh Memorial Social Works Award would also be distributed to outstanding clubs/organisations of Kshetrigao A/C for which eligible students and clubs/organisations are informed to collect prescribed forms from Irabot Bhawan, Irabot Celebration Committee, Kshetrigao Local.

Last date of form submission is September 25.The 1st State level cash prize Recitation Competition organised by Students� Federation of India, Patsoi Local Committee will be held on September 30 in connection with the birth anniversary of Hijam Irabot Singh.

Prescribed forms and detailed information can be obtained from the office of SFI, Governor road, Paona Bazar.

Last date of form submission is September 28.On the other hand, SFI, Yairipok Local Committee will organise State Level Mathematics Competition on September 18.SFI, Uripok Kangchup Local Organising Committee would be conducting State Level Debating Competition on September 21.SFI, Manipur State Committee will also be organising State Level Patriotic Song Competition on September 25.Detailed information of the mentioned competitions may be obtained from the office of SFI, MSC, Governor Road, Paona Bazar, Imphal or SFI Local Units.

In the meantime, All India Students' Federation, AISF, Heingang Zonal Council will conduct cash prize district level Patriotic song competition on September 22 at Achanbigei High School.
