Imphal, Jun 23: An office of the Royal Information Technology, Youth Development Centre (RITYDC) for Bishnupur district has been established at the office premise of D-Cacus Education Centre (DCEC), Ningthoukhong with the inaugural programme held at Ningthoukhong community hall today.

The Royal Information Technology has been allotted to DCEC by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Bishnupur under the sponsorship of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, said a DCEC release.

The office inauguration programme was held with Deputy Commissioner Aleng AS Shimray, who is also the NYK (Bishnupur) Chairman, Chairperson of Ningthoukhong Municipal Council K Birhari Singh and District Youth Coordinator S Gourakishwor Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Meanwhile, a State level general convention organised by DCEC was held at the same venue today in which resource persons deliberated on the topics of 'social problem', 'socio-economic condition', 'unemployment & youths', 'rural development programme' and 'work culture/agriculture/horticulture, added a separate release.
