Imphal, October 07: An interaction programme between mediapersons and Commander of 10 Sector Assam Rifles and his officers was held yesterday at the Headquarters of the Sector located at Somsai in Ukhrul district.

Besides the Sector Commander Brig PS Mandar and his officers, PRO of IGAR (South) Col LM Pant arrived from Imphal to participate in the interaction.

During the interaction the two parties talked about their respective experiences and professional hazards involved and stressed on improving relationship.

In continuation of the programme, mediapersons were today taken to inspect the development works being carried out by the AR for the people under the jurisdiction of the Sector.

The inspection covered the vocational training centre set up by the Assam Rifles for the people at Ukhrul town as well as the hostel for young girls constructed at Sangram village near Yaingangpokpi of Imphal East district.
