Imphal, March 31:
The Organising Committee of Campaign for Unit, Development and Peace (UNIDEP) in Manipur has appealed to the Manipur Agriculture Land and Wetland Protection Organisation to refrain from calling its proposed general strike in whole of Manipur on April 2 in view of the ongoing UNIDEP campaign.
In a statement, co-ordinator of the Sub-Committee (Publicity and Propaganda) NC Modhuchandra appealed to all concerned not to resort to calling any sort of agitation till April 5 and hamper the movement of people in all places where UNIDEP campaign is to be launched jointly by AMUCO, AMESCO, AMAWOVA, Poirei Leimarol and MEPWAK.
