Imphal, October 03:
While appreciating the efforts of UNLF and KYKL to dispel doubts from the minds of the people and save the image of the revolutionary movement, home secretary of KCP Lamphel Luwangcha has appealed to all concerned not to negate the task being carried out to bring about unity by the comrades.
In a statement, Luwangcha said KCP has been trying every possible means to bring together all its comrades and no one who has either strayed away from the revolutionary fold or otherwise, should not instigate for further disunity.
All the comrades should remember their bounden duties of ensuring that KCP to work together with other like-minded revolutionary outfits towards achieving the common goal, Luwangcha said, while exhorting the comrades to sort out the differences among them.
Existing disunity among the comrades might also give an opportunity to the colonialist forces to create further disunity, he cautioned.
KCP considers and regards all the revolutionary outfits fighting for the cause of independence as brothers and so instead of trying to suppress one another, they should extend help to each other toward furthering the cause, Luwangcha opined.
A handful of people who have no definite ideology has been pursuing their own vested interest under the mask of KCP, thereby causing problem not only to KCP but also to other genuine revolutionary outfits, he said, while seeking the co-operation and support of all other like-minded parties in finishing off these anti-social elements.
Luwangcha further exhorted all his comrades to always remember that no freedom struggle could be successful without the help of the people while carrying out their duties.
