Chief Minister O Ibobi perceives no threat to his position from dissident MLAs who have been camping at Delhi for more than 20 days.
The Chief Minister also maintained that Law Minister Th Debendra's visit to Delhi was for medical treatment.
Briefing media persons at the CM Secretariat this evening, Ibobi compared Congress party to a large family where dissent among some members is only natural.
He dismissed the current impasse within CLP as mere internal matters.
Nevertheless, he exuded confidence that the AICC high command will make necessary arrangements to settle the impasse amicably.
No CLP crisis was ever resolved in Delhi but settled in the States after thorough study of the nature of crisis by central observers, he asserted.
Claiming that the Congress high command has told the dissidents camping at Delhi to go back to Manipur, the Chief Minister asked as to how long can the rebel MLAs camp at Delhi.
To a query on the protracted impasse within the CLP, the Chief Minister observed that the rebel MLAs have been seeking attention of the party high command.
Reposing faith in the party, people re-elected Congress party to power with a landslide victory but the current impasse may erode people's confidence in the party, Ibobi noted.
Yet, the Chief Minister refused to accept the allegation that all official processes have been brought to a grinding halt because of the crisis within the CLP.
There is no pending file process and all Government offices are functioning normally, he claimed.
There is no distraction by the impasse rather the Government is concentrating on development works and as such major developmental changes can be expected in the State by March next year, he said.
On being asked about the possible actions that may be taken up against the Ministers reported to be siding with the rebel MLAs, the Chief Minister evaded a direct reply while maintaining that there is not a single Minister who has expressed dissent or lost of faith against his leadership.

Regarding allotment of lion's share of the fund sanctioned under the Special Plan Assistance in
Thoubal constituency, he asserted that adequate funds were sanctioned for the Assembly segments belonging to MLAs Oken, Hemanta and Surchandra.
For the whole Thoubal district, no fund was allotted for road development works, he added.
On corruption and fund misuse charges, the Chief Minister challenged any agency to investigate into matter and come up with substantial evidences, if they can.
Power Minister Phungzathang who was also present in the press meet maintained that all the CLP members belong to a single family and there is no question of changing CLP leadership at the insistence of any particular MLA.
The decision for change of CLP leadership rest entirely with the AICC high command.
State Planning Board Chairman E Kunjeshore and MPCB Chairman E Dwijamani too clarified before the media persons that their visit to Delhi was for medical treatment.
To the complaints of the dissident MLAs to the Prime Minister, the Home Minister and the AICC president that law and order situation have deteriorated to the extreme under his Chief Ministership, Ibobi conveyed that Union leaders have suggested to deal with it firmly as the matter is collective responsibility of the council of Ministers.
The press meet was also attended by Speaker Dr S Budhichandra, PHED Minister TN Haokip, Works Minister K Ranjit, Sports Minister N Biren, RD Minister Allaudin Khan, Agriculture Minister N Loken, PDA Chairman Dr Kh Loken, Education Minister L Jayantakumar and MLA Lokeshore.
