Meitei : Almost Extinct
Randhir Thiyam *
Meiteis—once kings,
now fighting like crabs in a cracked bucket.
Everyone a "leader,"
yet no one leads.
While you stab each other's shadows,
carnivals feast on your land,
refugees rename your soil,
dacoits auction your future.
Unite, or be archived—
not as rulers of Kangleipak,
but as a rare specimen in the
Endangered Species Collection.
