Liar's lair
Lalit Rajkumar *
The liar is dragging us towards his lair
Keeping us mired in dire streets
Firing bad-mouthed words with flair
His flair is in his flared visions.
Yet, he is daring in his own kaleidoscopic insensitivities
Unmoved by the miseries of the lot
He revels in his own deep heaps
Continues to glorify the flares in all its forms.
Obsessed with fires.
Realised through arson and bullets.
The noun and the verb been dragged into the muck
Without their own volition.
The question is who will tame the flames,
If not you and I.
