What could be the next?
Dear Friend,
What could be the next?
People were confused when the elections were really close. People could forget those leaders whose sincerity and caliber were experienced by us in many phases. Almost all the party leaders are not true nationalists I could say. Irrespective of party politics now we need to elect those truly and really dedicated and true son of our land. Why should we elect Rishang, Radha Binod, Chandramani, Nipamacha, Dorendra again? We all experienced how far they were
sincere and capable to do something constructive for development in the state. Now economically we need to work and think deeply at this stage of lives in Manipur. We are indeed in need of economic development (economic independence). Here in our land, almost all the countrymen are working class people. We all think to earn some good money by doing any kind of jobs beside govt. jobs since there is a sense of non-sense from govt. side. There are no capitalist bureaucrats (I mean, higher class people who could spend good amounts of money everyday in leisure, evening restaurants, sports clubs, or any standard parks or cafes) in Manipur. So from where the local shop owners so called the local businessmen (we have conceptualized as the business men or the educated unemployed youths) could earn good amounts of income.
Everybody has needed having tendency to depend on certain kind of repeated and imitative means of existing and survivals small shops like I do have here for my minimum survival. Everybody is compelled to run such kind of business after they finish study or after they reach certain stage of life in Manipur. There is hardly a very few families who could buy items/enjoy these available goods or commodities in the present market. Just look at there, the first class people are the leisure/ idle group of people. They come out in the market and buy things from the
sub standard class sellers the kinds of their daily food stuffs and daily necessities. Thus they
distribute their incomes moderately to the maximum number of population of the city. It is just opposite to ours in this land. A person who could open / run his shop like Global Net, Kombirei Keithel , Imphal - is regarded as the rich family son. I am describing the mental outlook of our people in its true sense with reference to the ideas or meaning of economic independence. Still no leaders, students, Meira paibis, officers and youths are not agitating or fighting for economic liberation. Very meaninglessly we have been fighting for political / social / ethnical / hill & valley liberation. We could do such things later on after we get the complete economic independence. What do you think about my viewpoints?
Ok. Write yours again. And I will thank you.
Let me stop here. Bye. Good Luck.
P. Arjun Singh.
