We are living in a modern world with an evolving system and it is apparent to have a modern vision with a modern positive outlook. In this
ever-changing pace we're compelled to cope up in this new attitudes ,if want to survive, according to Darwin's 'survival of fittest'.
But let's not forget that the greatest civilizations in this human mankind do
follow the same darwin's phenomena but without letting go of their ingrained
cultures and customs. Let's note down this point.
Let's go differently and look onto our system and let's make the observation. What did we infer? If I'am not wrong we're also trying to
cope up the natural changing pace but the question is why is our system seems and conspicuous to be degraded and deteriorated instead of
escalating on the progressing and development phase.
Why is our system the emanation of so many socio-economic problems?
Why is our system very different from the rest of other NE-states?
I feel somewhere deeply down the system something is wrong, otherwise it's ridiculous and insanity for any editor to make the 'satirical' story out of our system.
It is widely adopted that if we want to observe the true nature of a particular system we have to look from the perspective which should be outside the
very system.
Only then we could differentiate from others. This is obvious and doesn't require to elucidate. If we stand and observe, I'am sure,
anyone staying outside the state feel the same feverish outlook of our state,I'am having.
I love my motherland as that's where i've grown up,as that's where we could voraciously eat anything from 'iromba' to 'yongchak', as that's where....WHAT ELSE???? NOTHING else you could say off after this.
You can't spell anything any other state-related-good-things from your tongue even if you gnawed your mouth incessantly also. I bet
everyone agrees it. Are these only two things where most NRM (Non Residential Manipuri) proud of.
Then where and how's the system going wrong? I won't say it directly [may be my speculation is wrong] but rather point to it an indirect way.
Could anyone convince me who are the feasible rational leaders in our state? When any sort of ambiguous socio-economic problems occured in the
state, is there any leader who could climb and point his finger to the centre and saying the things at the top of his voice?
Is there any leader who doesn't have any language barrier but rather the centre feels his presence on his political expertisation eventhough a 'chinki'
fellow like 'P.A SANGMA' and so on.
All the above questions have a common answer and that's 'NO'.someone has mentioned that they're simply rotten-rat, evil-eyed, bastard, stingy-egostical fellows.
Is it right?? I don't know..may be the right answer lies to them only. But considering the actual degradation of the system I'am sure everyone favors the affirmative
answer.
But we should not forget that the society is not composed of only leaders. Every individual has the right to improve his own society,
community. And finally let's remember that we've delegated our own 'lousy-dingy' leaders??
It's us who have selected and confidence on them. Which confidence we've on them intellectually and potentially? I don't care
about claiming that MLA Mr. X is a doctor/doctorate/enginner.
People usually don't have confidence on blunted qualifications. It is the leadership qualities with a sense of patriotism which matters a lot. Simply
speculating that MLA Mr.X is doctorate, so will be good on politics, is not a good-sensible verdict. People usually count one's qualifications
after his performance only.
Let's come to the jurisdiction of the people on them. The selection of wrong leaders clearly depicted the consciences
of the indigeneous people. Then what're the very attitudes of our own people?.
I think the 'blaming' finger point to us only finally. It is because of us only that our state is facing the current terrible
conditions. It would be a wise-crack if we give this reasoning to the centre. The centre doesn't have a miniature telescope/microscope to look
the internal state policies so far and generally.
Let's us think first ourself our possible loopholes before blaming to others [centre]. Why the centre
is neglecting us from time immemorial? This question is not feasible and credible in this age from my view. I
don't know whereabout history. History is past.
Ironically history doesn't repeat itself in this era concerning that issue. Maybe some sort of
racial prejudice or discrimination may be there but that's also mostly because of our indigeneous inherent temperaments only. I've given some
of the reasons in the previous column also.
I'am sure that unless we proved again and again our intellectual assets and capabilities soundly,
we will be facing that racial prejudices in the present and future
also. Not only this if we go on our respective fields (Engineers,Researchers,Atheletes,Socialists etc) to the possible limit and tell to the world
our capablities, who's going to undermine us?
It is the power of education that is making the greatest inventories in this world. Without
sound education and intellectual assets, simply shouting and rulling the
internal system with insignificant mindsets won't significantly change
the external outlooks.
Once upon a time I was facing the problem of spelling 'Hindi' language. what is the meaning of language actually? If I'am
not wrong it's a rules/syntax use to communicate between two entities. If i'am predestined to stay only on my homeland community, there's
nothing wrong to stick only on my mother-tongue. Otherwise there's a significant leverage to one's life.
This I've experienced it and I've no doubt today that I've spoken 'Hindi' very well LEARNING FROM OUTSIDE THE
SYSTEM. There's no one who could understand my feelings and lots of embarrasing moments happenning outside the MANIPUR when trying to associate
with the local community speaking 'hindi' only, because our tongues are inherently compelled to suppress hindi-syllables.
I feel this is quite not sensible. I'am compelled to violate my own basic human rights of
learning new things. If 'Manipuri' is a renowed national/international language I won't have a problem before. But that's not so. We are living
in other society and it's natural to seek the other-language if we're going to accustom on it.
Count the number of students/employees living outside the state. Human beings are gregarious living beings and no one,
even the 'Adolf Hitler' couldn't stop someone going from his inhabitant. This is natural. Because MANIPUR is not our planet 'EARTH'.
If somebody is thinking it is, then it's insanity. If I am not wrong some of them (staying outside the state) may be facing disastrous moments (regarding
the hindi-moments) than me!!!
I really wanted to make this issue to be perspective in a general broad-minded way. Otherwise anyone could face the same experience I've
faced. I'am sure every reader will take this specific perspective in a positive way.
