Greetings everyone,
It is almost two months that we have not met after the south Lousing hillock's (Chingnungkok) event "Where have all the flowers gone?". It was indeed very successful as a concert but not as an event. We were happy with the feedback we got from those thousands who came.
But there's something I really can't understand till now. The message that we embedded with the event reached a few hundreds or maybe a few tens. Not so sure about it, sorry.
But one thing sure, it did not reach the target. Is it because of the lack of communication from our side? Or the target's resistance to such things?
Me along with Da Akhu and Folksy Triumph's Chinglemba and Anku went to the hillock yesterday to escape from our everyday's studio, guitars, camera and all the dusts, noise, vdf's and whatever that defines beautiful Imphal. The journey started with a phone call, then ene gi singju, laughs, chatters etc etc..
Reached the place, there we saw two pillars constructed in order to put up a gate at the main entrance. Then some bamboo walls in order to stop vehicles at that point. Ok, that was the last moment we smiled there.

As we advanced, we were first welcomed with broken beer bottles... "o angaoba amana touba oiramni gyan tadadana" we thought, then there lies Uncle Chips waiting for us... then an army of lays , then the thermocol plates..
The condition of the place has been deteriorated more than it was before.
Is it the ignorance of the people to be blamed?
Or Folksy Triumph who popularised the place once again after filmmakers or album makers did?
Something that we taught ourselves "beyond the courtyard lies the dustbin, go there dump.. who cares?? the little drain or the bigger one referred as the river will take care of it.", really is something we apply very effectively rather than those written in our EVS text books that fetched us good marks...
Once when we were a kid we had the habit of taking our own water bottles, if we were going out somewhere and if we felt we would need it. But the habit changes, thanks to our parents rich enough to afford us a packaged drinking water bottle and also to the industrialists who made our life easier.

Thanks to the disposable plates that we need not wash like we did with the old school steel plates. So don't worry we gonna leave you there like a mess. It looks interesting.
#beautiful people if you want to live happily ever after, never hope for a change positively.
Go along with the flow. Remember majority wins, us just a lone loser.
Regards,
The blabbering loser.
