Come September and Imphal is about to witness a Mega rock concert. Like in previous year, the former event management, SPADES, now newly christened as "River Boat", is all set to organize a mega rock show Metronome on September 14th 2008 at Iboyaima Shanglen Ground, Palace Compound. Imphal based Bands and Artistes like Bulo (Krad 'o' beat), Phela, Cleave , D'Brolka's including the renowned vocalists Mr. Lien Gangte and Vivek Chongtham will be headlining the bill. Interestingly an Imphal based band Addiction which has made its appearance felt in various major Rock competitions of the country will be performing for the very first time in their native city. "Metronome" assures to dished out more surprises for the audience. It may be noted that the last year's thrilling "Metronome" experience is still fresh in the minds of the young audience and are eagerly waiting for this year's event. The re-incarnation of SPADES as River Boat apart, the management team is also expanding its concept to launch the "Rock Music Scene" in Manipur in a big way. This year's "Metronome" would be a tribute to late Konsam Hemchandra Singh who believed in SPADES since its inception.
