E-Pao! EI - Living Las Vegas

Living Las Vegas

By: Loya Maisnam *

Seven years ago the experience living in Las Vegas, the life of living vice-versa, the night life and sleeping when the sun falls and penetrate to the earth; you better may possibly quote "the city never sleep" of the US based Citi Bank.

Morning dew always intended to mock and greet the strange phenomenal psycho tendency minority students coming from far-flung eastern most state Manipur and the north easterner, however she never was able to grasp the opportunity to wit but she ultimately just laughs contentedly.

All and all is fun and fantastic 'living Las Vegas'.

More than twenty thousand minority Manipuri are living here in Delhi can be categorized into many sections; major are pursuing the University certificates and other following the professional courses; some are chasing the coaching for medical, engineering, etc.;

Few are central servants; some are hunting for the jobs; aspiring civil services, other for SSC examinations, bank POs, and some are living with eye wide open to see the opportunity to get a pierce of hole to infiltrate the industry like the BPO which gives the highest compensation for their willing works in 'living Las Vegas' culture, by furnishing the incredibly abridged curriculum vitae, resumes and bio-datas.

As year goes by I experienced so much realistic life living here even I had beyond that crossing amidst the mid 2000s and now dawn to the making history for the pleasant memoirs I had experienced but still I felt afford good enough here, and ultimately in conclusion I could feel & see the missing of leaving the Las Vegas some time later. Simply it is all and all is fun and fantastic 'living Las Vegas'.

Of these populations only a few are being able to afford back their long expenses and toils with flying colors making the home bright and shine; by leaving the Las Vegas or by being provisional settlement instead. Some students pursuing graduation or the higher degree comes under one category who were not especially signified for their 'living Las Vegas" style because they are damn stubborn to their goal as much as beyond our understanding.

Apart from higher studies researchers, central servants, the larger parts of the minority are living a life of indelible fashion. Yet, the family in the hometown merely understood that, their love ones are the flame of hope and justice who will one day shine like the sun.

It definitely doesn't mean that each and every categorization underline here is not the research synopsis which anyone need to further study like the neo-classical data literature.

It is just a briefing of the dark side of the living Las Vegas. Truly can anyone imagine that the flamboyant minority are being dissipates ten and hundreds of million of rupees of the state's economy annually goes worthless in to the land of divine sanctuary, so it is 'living Las Vegas'.

Self-style Aryans are tagged, we northeasterner as 'Chinki' but yet they don't have the definite interpretation of the said word, nevertheless it really makes some 'Chinki' feels stereotype 'Chinki' themselves. The discrimination and segregation still survives in the city never sleep but who cares none left to label the most disciplined educated Biharis calling 'Bihari' whenever you see them anywhere at anytime.

Living in Las Vegas is damn fast and hectic; you shouldn't always be berserk because you are defeated when you have the high blood pressure. Everyone hardly knows he or she is underway to shorten to his journey of life expectancy, not any one see the tomorrow that's why he is curious to see so fast that he even forgot tomorrow will make today history.

The law and order situation here defines the citizens to live at the utmost freedom with dignity unlike the war torn Manipur. You can move and breathe alive in every nooks and corner unless you do any harm with anything. You can have school, college, business, travel, jobs, serious, rock and anything you wish to accompany with none will draw you any protest against, so living in Las Vegas still a fantastic.

The dress codes of the Manipuri residing here and other northeasterner finds some differences, yet we can simply differentiate the caste whom he or she belong to some extent but their dress fashion remained gorgeous, any fresher could feel the high voltage of heart beat when stand in the midst of the Miranda House and St. Stephen of the University main campus and moreover at the site of multiplexes in Vasant Vihar, Saket, Chanakya, or at any other shopping malls.

Be with Solay-Bhature, ice creams, be with juices, snacks, sand-witch, burgers, cold drinks, enjoy in Mc Donald, Pizza Hut, Barista, Nirulla, be with momos at Momo Point, Chinese noodles, meats and what not you couldn't possibly have. Look around the hi-tech cars, UVs, SUVs, and the imported land cruisers still exceedingly amazing and fantastic.

Travel and experience the flyover city of Asia; you will find in every two-kilometer distance, and the underground trains that you may probably turn down your excitement like a delusion. And at the top of it, finally you will have a self-pride of satisfaction by being in the Las Vegas without any cause.

It seem everybody comes here in the market place to buy some very descent things, they enter the Addidas showroom, Nike, Reebok, Puma, Vintage, Alien Solly, Wills, RayBan, Borsch, USI, etc. but still they bought nothing rather than the experience of the décor showrooms, well! atleast they got to know the legacy and nature of the systems.

Nonetheless, some advanced gypsy young men never leave the branded Sunday market each week because they knew that the fashion live behind the dark side of the long and excessively jam-packed flock of people which lasted only for the few hours. I agreed that I don't mind and don't felt cheerless by being experience the Sunday market. These are the systems in Las Vegas and ultimately none is convincing the leaving of 'living Las Vegas'.

It is high time to remind history repeats itself; many students have been brought demised by the blues and still many are enjoying the pleasure of the illusion caused by the blues and other ecstatic drugs leaving the world of competition untouched without the theory of a life career instead.

Recount it was only yesterday a northeastern girl raped in a moving car, scandal of molestation of Manipuri, suicide, die by overdose, fighting with black and blues between the rivalry minority groups, recite the ultras' activities by affecting the students residing here and many unsung stories which remained underneath the Las Vegas.

But yet the Thabal Chongba, Ningol Chakouba, sports, concerts, and other activities like seminar, rallies, meeting, photo shows and many relating topics and burning issues of the contemporary Manipur behest that living Las Vegas still gives the live and feelings of the unscathed Manipur.

The cost of present day temptation and pleasure of living in the city never sleeps will bring only an unforgettable memoir rather than the lost we have had experienced.

Everyone has the mental capacity to control the lure and has the ability to grasp the good culture and prospect for being a human, if then; everyone must be finally discerned that we should very careful without confusing by bearing in the mind,
"Though the woods are lovely,
dark and deep yet,
I have keep the promises;
And miles to go before I sleep-
And miles to go before I sleep
"
whenever and wherever you live in the 'living Las Vegas' in India.
