Lets Depart

The last extra dose was so strong that I went high at an instant, glorifying the sentiments of my past that was forgotten long back. Holding the glass on the right hand and mobile on the left, with the earpiece on my ears playing the song by Sheryl, I moved out of the room with extreme difficulty due to the potion which was indeed- magically uncontrollable and powerfully fatal.

The moment I opened up the door, the cool air hit my face, making me chill and starve for more of it. I came outside closing the door behind, not allowing the air to gush inside so as to enjoy the warmness once I get inside again.

The sky was so clear that thirst suddenly visited my throat and I had to sip the potion to suffice the urge inside my throat. The stars were indeed breathtaking; almost stolen my breath.

With the crazy thought of the stolen breath, I stopped my breath for a while, but laughed out on such a fanatic whim. How much hard and how many times I tried to comfort myself with certain insane ideas, the potion was advancing ahead in opening the pages of my past which I do not wish to confront again.

Before I could brew another anti idea, the potion was already fuming strong and sparkly. Were my eyes deceiving me? Was it real?

"This is not possible. It is just a dream without a destiny for both." Her charming, but manipulating tone was one thing which I always used to fall for. Hearing the voice after so many changed seasons made me felt the spring sprouting inside my shattered heart.

She continued,"I really like you. But you are not made for me and you know that. It is really tough for me to say, but I have to. Lets depart."

There was no compassion in her voice. She was not feeling a bit disappointed at all. She was keeping on checking the time on her watch repeatedly as if she had an appointment or a person to play with, a toy in short.

I smiled back" Is this why you call me today? It is alright, dear. I cannot let you spend the rest of your life for my own sake with no happiness at all. I prefer to set you free like how you were before we met for the first time."

"I have to leave now. Got to go for an appointment! See you." She walked away swiftly, so swift that she got lost in the huge crowd, forfeiting my eyes from its usual track of hers.

I could feel the clouds hovering above, making a temporary nest to lay the drops to quench the dry earth. I felt numbed. I poised for a moment as to what to do next. I started walking down the sloppy path which leads to the park where we first bump into. The rain started showering and the sound of its splatter tears up the emotions which I had been disguising in front of her from the moment she spoke her final wish.......ZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Chingkhei, it's starting to rain. Come inside" Tomba's voice was heard from somewhere, but could not exactly point out as to from where.

"Are you sleeping? Hey, get up, man! You aren't crying, are you? What happen? I told you it was really heavy for you. Now get up. Let's get inside before you have to shiver the whole night with chillness. I woke up with fuse, with tears dripping out from my eyes.

I was dreaming the whole time. May be she must be missing me, I thought. I laughed out loud on the thought and went inside the room, laughing…hahaha….but I still love you, dear!!!!
