Bhalla saab solution kithe ?

His Excellency the Governor of Manipur is seriously looking for an amicable solution for the present situation of the State? Of course, the current situation is much better than before but a final settlement is still elusive. Talks have begun but the participants are not the protagonists. The main actors are behind the scene - there lies the solution. This is high time to reach out to those who really matter.
One former Sangathan Mantri candidly says if you really want a settlement, you must deal with all the MLAs and Ex MLAs because they are directly in touch with all the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) including
the insurgents and armed militias. If Dilli is looking for something more than a mere settlement – that is an enigmatic matter altogether. Only the top brass in the governance might be privy to the riddle.
A group of citizens met a prominent national leader – requesting him - how to go about the peace process? He said, these days, it seems things are better in Manipur- no firings, no killings, no violence, only few cases of missing persons; trucks & vans are plying, flights are operating, schools and colleges are open.
Yes of course tension will be there until and unless the guns are fully recovered and displaced people are settled appropriately. Bholla is moving in that direction and he is doing well. One of them corrected him, Sir, his name is Bhalla not Bholla. Anyways your governor is performing – he shot back.
He continued, don’t mind when somebody ignores you. In a democracy only number matters. Whatever is written in the Constitution is fine but in practice leaders also look for more crowds or votes; ultimately the majority decides everything – even in Parliament.
Do you know why people have shifted to UP, because this is the place where numbers are mobilized. He proposed that all the eight NE States should come together and stand unitedly – then there will be some visible impact in national politics.
A Pracharak who dedicated many years of his entire life in the northeast has said, we are not the government, we can’t do much, but we can start an initiative for talking among the two ‘samudais’; people to people contact is crucial. The dialogue among the people may help in bringing about better understanding.
Indeed, they started talking to them separately and later made arrangements to sit together to share views. Solution lies in meeting and talking. Now everyone is curious about the outcome of such gatherings or meetings or sittings. As a matter of fact, such meetings have developed a kind of bonhomie between the two communities. Check the ground reality.
A former bureaucrat is giving unsolicited advice to one and all for ending the Manipur crisis. He said, “you just put me in the helm of affairs. I will handle everything and settle all issues within a few months. I was dealing with such a crisis for several years as a bureaucrat. Now the situation is limping back to normalcy but a solution is still a far cry.
The CSOs who went to Dilli for a combined dialogue could not see the big Boss. Without meeting him how can you people work out a solution? The Meiteis desire to preserve the State. But others want to divide it and share the land among themselves. Autonomy within should not be a problem. Six Autonomous District Councils are already in existence”.
There is some semblance of normalcy - relief materials are coming, compensation is being calculated, reconstruction is agreed upon, rebuilding houses/buildings is being proposed, ex-gratia is being paid, weapons recovered / surrendered (except the sophisticated and working ones), National Highways and State roads are in use ( don’t ask who are travelling ), shops are open and all necessary items are made available.
The newly appointed Union Expenditure Secretary may kindly look into the fund flow towards Manipur. The State is facing, as usual, some financial crunch.
A political pundit who has an experience of about 50 years of dirty politics has predicted that the state election is knocking at the door, it is coming anytime after the completion of Bhalla’s six months. If possible, launch a new Party as people are really fed up with old parties and ugly faces - they want new faces and new leaders. A new party will have a better chance to come out with flying colors.
Taking his advice it is decided to launch a new Party called Manipur Opportunistic Party (MOP) – it’s leadership will decide whether MOP will be part of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) or Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA); in addition to the going-to-be retired MLAs, all winnable aspirants including seasoned thieves, old robbers, local goons, rebels with proper contacts, current contractors , surviving smugglers and police across the socio-politico spectrum are most welcome.
Tickets will be given to the highest bidder. Any winner may think of becoming a Minister and Chairman purely on the basis of his/her contribution to the party fund. However there is no vacancy for the post of Chief Minister. I repeat no vacancy for CM.
Get ready for election, Honorables.
